Research Interests


Research in the department focusses on properties and regulation of ion channels and transporters, cell volume regulation, suicidal cell death and host pathogen interaction. Scientist at the department come from more than a dozen countries and enjoy the free exchange of ideas, the joint efforts and the opportunity to pursue their goals with international cooperations.
